Each cube is designed to present light and airy living spaces. They can also provide great indoor/outdoor living and are also helpful in cases where additional utility spaces are required.
Provisions for multi-generational family living via self-contained yet connected ‘pods’ is also possible. The concept allows the building to be completed in segments if desired, with different ‘pieces of the cube’ being constructed at various stages or lifecycles (subject to site plan).
The Rubic House is an Australian innovation created by Melbourne based building designer Brian Stacey. Brian’s design is forward-thinking and highly attuned to the Australian way of life. It offers ample living spaces, flexible floorplans and a grand Pavillion-style light-filled ‘centre cube’ space featuring high ceilings. If desired, a cathedral pitch ceiling resting upon glass-framed sky-view windows can be incorporated here, elevating the design to a superior stand-out beauty.
